This straw hat is handmade by artisans from the Wayuu in Northern Colombia following century-old weaving techniques. Being made from 100% natural fibers, genuine Iraka Palm Straw, and dyed using non-toxic, oil-based dye, it makes for a perfect eco-friendly addition to your summer style. Our artisans receive a fair wage and training so they can build a better life. Good for your style, the people and the planet.

Care Instructions

Palm straw is very durable, and its colors are waterproof. Still, avoid diving while wearing your hat or dipping it in guacamole. If needed, use a damp cloth to clean off stains.  Should a stray piece of straw pop out, do not pull it – simply snip it off with a nail clipper or a pair of scissors.
